When I was fitted for the orthotics, I was told it takes a couple of weeks. After I wasn’t contacted after a length of time, I called them. They said they were not at the office (found out later they were sent to another Truro office that I have never visited.)

Ps: I normally do not post online reviews, but received an email from LifeMark today asking me to post one.

They told me they would be couriered to the Esplanade location and that I could pick them up. I work in halifax Mon-Fri so my time to pick them up was limited.

I admit my patience was running thin, they finally sent the orthotics back to the other office for me to pick up. Third time was the charm.

Two days later I was able to once again make it to the office before the posted online office hours were over for the day. I arrived 30 minutes prior to that, to find they were closed again.

During my treatment at life mark before I received the orthotics, I had treatment done by a Dalhousie student. Great guy, seemed to know his stuff, and took the time to treat my ailment.

I moved to Truro last year, so I previously used the New Glasgow office of Lifemark. Paul is a professional in every sense of the word, he is organized, and always maintains the set appointment times. My new orthotics were ready when he said they would be and fit properly and felt great. As well, the staff at both locations are great and very knowledgeable about all their products and services and answered any questions about my coverage through my employer, thank you very much !

I checked the hours online and arrived an hour before closing... but they were closed. Apparently the staff had somewhere else to be I was told when I called the other Truro office.

Let me start with a positive. The orthotics themselves are fine, comfortable, and are helping with my problem.

At the end of the day, my foot hurts less, and the orthotics seem to work. So take away from this what you will.

Paul at Life mark has produced several sets of orthodics for me over the years. An ankle/foot injury which required surgery had special requirements that were met all round! Very satisfied.

When a colleague of mine asked if I ever spoke or was seen to by a staff physiotherapist, I said no, only ever the student since day 1. I have been told my several people that an unpaid student should not have been giving me treatment solo, but I do not know the regulations enough to say one way or the other.
